I bought my set on Amazon over a year ago, and they've been used for everything to baking mini-cheesecakes to storing home made butter.
The color and shine have held up consistently, I have three kids who sometimes drop things and aren't always too careful when washing dishes - and I have not lost a single one yet to the 'oops, I dropped it' - and belive me, they have been dropped more than once.
The only complaint I have isn't about the item - plastic lids are available, but are hard to find!
